With newly built student accommodation to fill, UC engaged Poached Egg Pictures to create a collection of case study videos on why UC is a genuine choice for students looking for a home away from home.


After UC’s first successful project with us, they continued to engage us for their professional video content needs. UC felt we listened and understood their brand, and accurately reflected the student experience within our videos. Our ability to work alongside their marketing team to create the best possible results, and ensure students felt comfortable and appeared natural on camera, made all the difference.



UC is all about authenticity, so they wanted to capture a totally unscripted depiction of student life, and trusted us to best construct that narrative. We were also flexible and nimble throughout the journey, able to pivot with them during COVID, and repurpose footage to create assets requested from their digital advertising agency.

Working with UC’s marketing team, we assisted in selecting potential students, drafting interview questions, and developing narrative structures, in order to fulfil their guidelines and expectations.

Students were given permission to answer the questions openly and honestly, behaving as they usually would, we set about documenting events throughout the year, including student interviews.


Landing Page

After COVID UC’s advertising strategy included landing pages utilising google ads and with this came the need for videos to increase engagement.

Using the same approach, and keeping within the framework of authenticity, PEP set about filming a video to function as a smaller version of the College Life video.

It was a successful tool and UC filled to capacity.  


15″sec YT ads

UC wanted to test YouTube pre-roll advertising. We created a series of these ads from existing assets to test if there would be any conversion from the platform.

They were successful and cropped versions were rolled out to Instagram.
